Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Department of Economics at Georgia State University. I received a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley in 2024. I am also a J-PAL invited researcher. 

I study labor markets and states in low-income countries with a focus on Ethiopia. One stream of my current research examines the constraints firms face in hiring and  managing workers. I also study the design and implementation of policies to promote private-sector development in low-income countries .
